FIP Revenue Stabilization
Providing Stable Revenues through Fixed Price Power Offtakes and Assisting Generators Transition their Assets from FIT to FIP
Overview
Unlike FIT, FIP does not provide stable revenue for generators, and also introduces imbalance risk. To support generators in stabilizing their revenue, we purchase electricity and environmental value under FIP at a fixed price.
With the recent growth in demand for corporate PPAs, there is an increasing need to transition FIT power sources to FIP. Additionally, the transition to FIP reduces curtailment risk and acts as an effective solution for power sources experiencing curtailment related revenue reductions.
